About NPIS

The National Petroleum Information System (NPIS) consists of an integrated and centralised database and information system covering all petroleum products supply operations and installations, the principal market activities and statistics of The Gambia as well as international reference data.
The NPIS is a modern facility established to host online data, and documents collated to promote and facilitate downstream petroleum activities in The Gambia.
With this state-of-the-art facility, data is available to visitors at the click of a button, contrary to the times before when it took months to provide technical information to prospective companies. The NPIS also includes a register of all licensed downstream Petroleum Sector participants.
Successful execution of this project will impact The Gambia's downstream Petroleum Sector through:

  3. Establishment of E-Rooms at local & international level for licensing;
